Ingredients :
- 2 medium onions sliced or ¾ cup
- 1 ½ cups chopped capsicum / bell pepper
- 2 tsps oil
- ½ tsp cumin
- ½ tsp mustard
- salt as needed
- turmeric a pinch
To roast and powder or use garam masala
- 1 tsp urad dal
- 1 tsp chana dal
- 1 tsp dry coconut
- 1 red chili
- ¼ tsp cumin
- ½ garlic clove
Instructions
- Dry roast the ingredients mentioned under to roast and powder. Cool and make a fine powder.
- Heat oil in a pan and season with cumin and mustard.
- Add onions and fry until golden.
- Add capsicum, turmeric and salt. Fry for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Cover and cook until done.
- Add the spice powder and saute until it begins to smell nice
- Capsicum fry is ready.
