Ingredients
- 1 cup paneer cubes
- 2 cups palak
- 2 green chilies
- half cup fine chopped onion
- half cup tomato puree
- 1tsp cumin powder
- 1tsp giner garlic paste
- 1inch cinnamon stick
- half tsp garam masala
- Half cup water
- 10 cashews
- fresh cream (optional)
- 2 cloves
- salt
- Oil
Method
- Wash palak in a large pot. Rinse a few times . Drain water completely.
- Take a pan add tsp oil. saute green chilies and palak on medium flame. Do not overcook spinach.cool it completely. Add to a blender, make smooth paste. Set aside.
- Heat oil in a pan. Add cinnamon, cumin and cloves. Add onions. Fry unitll golden.
- add giner garlic paste, fry until raw smell goes.
- Add tomato puree and salt. when tomato puree cooked. add coriander powder and garam masala.
- saute until masala smells good for 3 mins. add half cup water and cook on medium flame.
- When the gravy thickens. Add the palak puree and cook for 2 mins. add the paneer,mix well. switch off the stove.
- Serve Palak paneer with naan, roti, paratha or rice.
