Egg fried rice


Ingredients:

1 egg beaten
1 to 1.5 tbsp  oil
½ cup long grain rice
1 small onion sliced
1 sprig of spring onions
2 garlic cloves chopped
Handful of bell peppers
¾  tsp red chilli powder
Salt as needed
1 tsp soya sauce
1 to 2 green chilies (optional)

Method :

  1. Soak washed rice for 20 mins. Cook until grainy without making mushy.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, add garlic.
  3. When it smells good, add onions, chili and saute until golden.
  4. Add red chili powder. stir red chili powder in 1 to 1.5 tbsps water. Add that to the pan along with soya sauce.
  1. Cook until it reaches Oil begins to separate.Add spring onion whites,capsicum and salt.
  2. Saute well for 2 to 3 mins or until the veggies are half cooked.Pour the beaten egg and stir. Cook until the egg is soft cooked.
  3. Add rice, spring onion greens.
  4. Mix together and fry for 2 min. Serve hot.
